There are literally dozens of blogs, articles and TV news clips about it that there's no way for me to post them all here, look at the &lt;a href="http://motivescosmetics.marketamerica.com/lisamoffa/index.cfm?action=motives.csNewsList&amp;amp;refEmail=&amp;amp;switchPrdCountry=USA" target="_blank" class=""&gt;press link&lt;/a&gt; on the Motives site if you want to read up on all of those.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;Perhaps the most notable thing was meeting La La Anthony!&lt;/b&gt; I attended the private Motives Trainer session on Wednesday and she popped in with Loren Ridinger to introduce herself to us and give some insight on how the Motives for La La ethnic makeup came to be along with how she will create some high visibility for Motives with her star power. Honestly, I didn't know who she was before the partnership but I hear she was an Mtv V-Jay (video jockey/host) a few years back before the reality show so I'll have to look up her bio. She's really nice and very personable and also building her own business as a distributor too, just like the rest of us! There's no paid endorsement for this makeup. I sat in the second row, right behind her brother, as it turns out, and took a bunch of cell photos that I put on &lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/timelessmom/6827277105/in/set-72157629194026519" target="_blank" class=""&gt;Flickr&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;along with my camera shots of the trip.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="" align="center"&gt;&lt;img src="http://images.quickblogcast.com/2673-2659/MiamiMAWorldConference2012062.JPG?a=17" style="border-color: initial; border-image: initial; width: 400px; height: 300px; border-top-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px; border-left-width: 0px; border-top-style: solid; border-right-style: solid; border-bottom-style: solid; border-left-style: solid; border-color: initial; "&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;The Motives booth was a mob scene with a film crew&lt;/b&gt; while &lt;a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/marketamerica/6818591179/in/photostream/" target="_blank" class=""&gt;Loren &amp;amp; La La&lt;/a&gt; were there!! I stood in line later in the day to swatch the new makeup from both La La and the new Passport Destination line from the original collection which are gorgeous and made with amazing high quality for the price. There are some comparison charts for price, quality and selection that were shown featuring La La's line against other brands marketing toward Women of Color. Since La La is Puerto Rican, she is aiming to fill a void in the beauty market with this line and attract the Latina and African-American client to &lt;a href="http://www.motivescosmetics.com/lisamoffa" target="_blank" class=""&gt;Motives&lt;/a&gt;. I will see if I can upload photos of those slides but they flipped through them fast so I only caught a few. They used &lt;u&gt;Fashion Fair&lt;/u&gt;, &lt;u&gt;Black Up&lt;/u&gt;, &lt;u&gt;Sacha&lt;/u&gt;, and&amp;nbsp;&lt;u&gt;Iman&lt;/u&gt; cosmetics to test against and scored way better with no oily-ness or ashy results along with better pricing too. I'm a big believer in goal setting and vision boards which are great for reminding you why you strive for something more out of life when things get tough. New Year Resolutions never work and fade away quickly like most people's diet plans. Her chosen word is 'Growth' for expanding her life on many levels while I've selected 'Accomplish' because what good are goals if you don't complete them and I have new plans already in the works.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="" align="center"&gt;&lt;img src="http://images.quickblogcast.com/2673-2659/Accomplish.jpg?a=88" style="border: 0px solid;"&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="" align="center"&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;b&gt;2012 is a highly anticipated year of hyped-up &lt;a href="http://www.improve247.com/society/2012-mayan-calendar-prediction-the-end-of-the-world-prophecy" target="_blank" class=""&gt;prophecies&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&amp;nbsp;from the Mayan/Aztecs and is the &lt;a href="http://chinesenewyear2012.net/" target="_blank" class=""&gt;Year of the Water Dragon&lt;/a&gt; in the Chinese Calendar which is supposedly good for business and making money. So I think it'll be very important to create your own reality and not succumb to the naysayers and doomsday predictions. It's a year for prosperity and growth so why not focus on the good that can come from that by setting goals? Yeah, world strife will continue and I'm pretty sure we'll have more crazy record breaking weather over the year which I believe is thanks to the Solar Storm period peak cranking out more CME's but I choose to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
