The summer finally showed up-- with plenty of rain & we've been busy with the usual activities but with all the social networking I do my blog has been seriously neglected! I keep thinking that I will update here with shorter entries just to be current & not play catch up with all the good stuff going on but procrastination gets the best of me.

The Market America convention is less than two weeks away & many updates are coming out from corporate & our team leaders. I'm especially loving the newsletters with links that I forward out to my contacts. I'd like to see a customer specific tone to some of them for encouraging more interaction & I think we'll get that with the release of the Apprentice Program for customers to earn their way into an UnFranchise but, of course, the updates are aimed at us & potential entrepreneurs.

My recent Motives trainings went well & I downloaded the latest PowerPoints for the class. I was impressed to see so many more tips & photographs included amongst the material. There was only one issue with my computer, no hookup to the printer so I must send out their certificates separately.  I usually hand them right to the newly certified consultant as they hand in their evaluations. I heard that another trainer didn't even give them out which confuses me? I'd be pissed if I was a student from their training.

The most recent news with Motives by Loren Ridinger is the fact that Bravo's designer competition tv show "The Fashion Show" has the Motives line on the models & all of the MUA staff backstage have the branded shirts on. A few of our premiere consultants were on site to assist & shared photos on Facebook and the MA Blog on the portal homepage featured one of them with an entry about it. Tonight is Part 2 of the season finale & I plan to tune in at 10pm again.

I've also been doing my best to promote that presence among the beauty & fashion crowd in my Twitter account. In fact I've been so busy dropping links & chatting about new products that I really haven't been looking to book events & do more events. Think it has more to do with the upcoming convention & new products, and trainings. MA will be hosting a new version of the Day 1 & Day 2 at convention so I plan to take them in since there are so many changes. My recertification is due also but I am one or two requirements short of that & it doesn't look like a recert class is available yet.
