Summer Makeup Tips With Motives Cosmetics

Check out some great summer makeup ideas that I wanted to share using Motives by Loren Ridinger customizable cosmetics.

1. Use a lighter application of foundation. Motives offers several long lasting options for coverage. Go for the easy approach with one step Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation with built in primers, nutrients, moisturizers & an SPF 15 that has HiDef coverage & leaves skin feeling silky smooth, this item made "The Haute List" on the NY Post recently! Some other fine selections are: Dual Finish Pressed Powder, Motives Custom Minerals or a sheer Custom Blend Foundation or Custom Tinted Moisturizer for dry or oily skin made exclusively by a certified consultant on the spot for you! Book an appointment with your local consultant for that one.

2. Go for COLOR! Summertime trends call for tropical & shimmery Latina Beauty Award winning eyeshadows that bring a touch of fun to everything. Take a look at the 47 colors from Motives plus 15 new glamorous Summer '09 colors. My recommendations are: Tahitian Red Earth, the beautiful blue-green Pacific Sea & the glittery shadows for added drama with taupe tone Sequins & silvery Bling

3. Be smudge free with Waterproof Eye Liner & Waterproof Lustafy Mascara. Be sure to remove them with eye makeup remover by wetting a cotton pad & saturating the eye area for a ten count before gently wiping away. Do not rub, let it soak then wipe!

4. Skip the lipstick, summer heat can make is a melted mess! Keep a squeeze tube of glitzy Full Color Lip Shine or even better a rich Lip Shine stain like the brown toned Cherries Jubilee or wine colored Love Potion No. 9 in your purse. A stain will leave a touch of residual color that will stay on your lips long after the application until the next touch up.

The next time I head out I plan to do a dark blue smokey eye with Midnight topped with mineralized Rockstar Gel Eyeliner for some iridescent definition at the next invitation to a party.

Midnight 1st row 1st column; Sequins 1st row last column; Bling first column last full row; Tahitian Red Earth last full row 3rd column
