The New Black Friday Sales Give Retailers Another Chance & Shoppers Great Deals

Every site with news has a story about the big After-Christmas sales with up to 80 or even 90% off retail!! This gives the merchants their last big chance to save their sales numbers for the holiday season and gives consumers a chance to get some awesome prices on the items they didn't get as gifts or have been holding out for. I got my wishlist item, a digital picture frame, so I don't have to look around for that thankfully but here's an article about the New Black Friday.

This year online retailing has been a major player in this holiday shopping season & now Amazon is claiming their best year so far in sales thanks more consumers going online to save money. MarketAmerica.com is going to give them a run for the money for the 2009 holiday season when our Google applications be online at full speed for product search & real-time price comparison along with whatever else they've got in development for the portal's web 2.0 update.

You know I already shopped the MA portal for anything that I could pre-determine as gifts or order then pick up at the store which earned a ton of maRewards that I just redeemed for a PureH20 Shower Filter set. The only stores I did pick up at was Walmart for some toys that I knew I couldn't shop for since the girls were homebound with colds at the peak of my regular store shopping. It was a great convenience to get the larger toys that way & I had my hubby get them after work when the shopping traffic was slower. 

My son got his sisters the Wii system with the sports set up plus a few extra games and he made sure that I knew he order via my link to Target. (yes, he's older--22) Its been the most popular gift and everyone wants to try it. Our youngest daughter was complaining this morning that her arms were sore but didn't realize its from the boxing she did last night. She was amazed that the game did that to her. LOL Just gotta get the older daughter off her new Sims games & have some Wii fun too.

Well, I'm off to browse the after holiday sales too, we held out on a new tv and are seeing what kind of deals are out there now. The Wii system has connection issues with this older JVC and getting a flat panel in the next week or so would be awesome for when SuperBowl & Daytona come around.
