January 2009 Motives Certification on Long Island NY
I'm submitting dates for the next set of Motives Trainings for Long Island in English. They are for the second weekend of January which is coming up relatively quickly so I hope they get approved soon by Market America's national meeting & training system. I'm sure MA wants us to get the field trained with the entirely renovated certifications for Motives.
There are now only TWO certifications: Level One is now Motives Application, Techniques & Business Building & Level Two is called Custom Cosmetics, specifically the Custom Blend liquid foundation & the Custom Mineral Powders. The skincare is sectioned off into a third shorter presentation that any Senior Consultant or Product Trainer can do. I will have to do them just to get the info out there if people don't take it upon themselves to open the download....really hard right? Well, they still need the support info behind the slides too, so I can see why it may not be enough and requires orientation, especially for newbies.
I've had several consultants contact me already about potential classes so they will fill up quickly or I'll have to find a hotel that has a classroom available with short notice that won't bump up the price due to the holiday season or lack of time.
Okay here's the plan:
*1/11, Sunday: Motives Level One (guests welcome) $50 first timers/$25 retakes w/proof, some makeup & tools required
*1/18, Sunday: Motives Level Two (distributor only) $50 first timers/$25 retakes w/proof, custom blend kit required & can be purchased at class with cash
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR A TICKET TO THE CLASS!!!
Newly Revised Registration Forms Are Also Necessary For Securing Your Seat, contact me ASAP by email to get a form by fax or email.
NOTE: I plan to add a second Application & Business class on a Saturday due to some requests from colleagues that I ran into at the NE Regional in Providence and will update here upon selecting a date along with confirmations of the trainings approvals.

Just before the year ended I received notification from corporate's lead trainer that retake discounts are no longer available!! The Motives certifications are now one flat rate which is still a phenomenal value for beauty certifications. I know that beauty industry makeup classes go for $300 or more, especially if its an advanced class for photography, wedding or specialties like fantasy makeup. If only the MA distributors knew that!
