Personal Care: New Fabulosity Spa Collection by Kimora

The much anticipated Spa Collection for Kimora's Fabulosity line came in yesterday's mail. I had sampled it at the Motives trainer class at convention this past summer and loved the smell of Gardenia that it had. I already had a scented spritz in with this fragrance so I was happy to get it among our product selection & I love that they are affordably priced with a good range of quality ingredients and extracts.

To do a true review of the Fab Spa products I'm going to have to a spa day here at home. The four spa products are a Cleanser, Sugar Scrub, Firming Lotion and Body Butter. So just know that I am really doing a once over on myself for this entry.........I'll be back!

UPDATE: 2:30pm

Okay, I got in the shower before school bus pick up time and used the whole Fabulosity set.

WOW! I'm impressed!! Not only were they silky but you could feel them condition and moisturize as you applied them. This is going to make a fantastic home spa demo line, either for the hands or feet.

First is the Silky Cleanser, its a shower cleanser with a white pearlescence. I used a washcloth, like it says on the bottle, not a mesh scrubbie, and got a good lather that smelled nice then rinsed & turned off the shower because I didn't want to waste water or wash away the next step too early. So I scraped out some Sugar Body Scrub with my spatula---I was really surprised to see an inner lid with a pull tab!!---and applied that by hand. Of course I worked on my elbows, knees and ankles mostly with the scrub which felt really nice and not too abrasive but I did notice a difference right away...then rinsed and got out.

Then I dispensed the Lavish Firming Lotion which says its got a Chinese herb and some other things that make it effective for smoothing the skin. I remember someone saying that one of the ingredients is rumored to be good for cellulite!!! I will have to research that a bit and see which one it is. So that treatment felt really good then I saw the micro-size reflection of a sparkle here and there, not a lot just a few tiny glimmers. I didn't see them as I squirted out a glop of lotion but it does say its a shimmering lotion on the bottle.

Lastly, I applied the Body Butter to only my trouble spots, again--elbows, knees, ankles and actually my belly area which has a bit of C-section flab which certainly needs some Low Glycemic attention from the Transitions program too as my Transitions Coach students gently encourage, LOL. My tummy tends to get itchy so I put some of the rich cream on there and I'm telling you that I feel great!!

Really didn't think the Fab Spa line would be so effective at the low price point but I'm very glad to report that it is great and the Gardenia scent is pleasant yet gentle, not the least bit overpowering. So I think I only have ONE problem. This set was meant for doing demos for my class and parties until I create some sales out of it to pay for my own personal set consumption but I don't think I can wait that long!!! I love this so much that I might just keep it clean and use spatulas until a new one comes in.

For marketing I'm going to create a flyer and probably take a basket photo for holiday gifts to get pre-orders because this is a no-brainer for easy gift giving!! Any woman would love getting this as a gift under the Christmas tree, birthday or other holiday of your choice. hehe  So my recommendation is a A+ for the Fab Spa collection by Kimora!!

(Hey Loren & Kimora! You two should be proud of yourselves for bringing these to the MA marketplace!! Just needs a little advertising to get the attention and sales it deserves.  )

Check our the Fabulosity Spa Collection here, also available separately.

Afterthought: Can we call our home spa events Fabulosity Spa Parties or "Fab Sparties" for short? hehe
