The UnFranchise Marketing Plan Has Gotten a Makeover from JR!!
The Market America presentation of the compensation plan has been the same since I started ten years ago with the company and yesterday it got a much anticipated update from the man himself... JR! I'm sure its just the presentation of the UnFranchise business system and the way we do business that's changed, or I should say, evolved. Our comp plan, known as the MPCP, hasn't changed much at all. The last time anything significant happened was when they added the IBV plan for incentive/internet business volume for a secondary income on top of the original comp plan and also added Global entries for earning on personally sponsored out of the US.
I can't wait to order the new flipcharts and get the hang of the new format. We'll probably need a coring with the team to get everyone up to speed and share feedback from convention attendees that saw JR's segment from Friday. An MP3 will be online soon for us to download and that will help even more. The older booklets were on sale at the event but I personally hate buying outdated stuff but then some people will stick to the original format just because they may not be web savvy. Those people really should make the effort to learn since its a no-brainer to get customers and team members to use the webportal and earn on that, its already there for them with no extra set-up or hosting fees.
So I'm just betting that the update will show people how much Market America has evolved as a company and what kind of opportunity it has to offer the potential UnFranchise owner/distributor. I so wish that I was there for that & didn't have to leave convention early. I think I love MA so much because I'm an info junkie and am always looking forward to the next thing and figuring out how I can utilize or adapt it to my business.
The plan is probably still gonna be the same 6 steps: apply, create bv, qualify, activate, teach/manage, build share of customer, although, adding a step like growth globally too is possible. I have noticed that our bv values have gotten slightly better too on the new products, closer to 80% to the dollar of product ordered and that our distributor costs have been stable with very few adjustments or increases over the years, which is usually due to the supplier or manufacturer economy fallout.
Let's hope they have it simplified online for easier viewing without all the complicated slides of our lingo that ordinary people don't comprehend unless they're network marketing veterans. I'm really excited right now about Market America being at the tipping point. We are right on the verge of that stellar breakthrough to the national spotlight and I can see it coming already with the number of hits I'm getting here on my blog.
I also have to give a shout-out to Loren Ridinger for actually stopping by & making a comment on a previous entry. Its so delightful to hear from MA's Senior VP with personal words of encouragement. I started this blog for myself to chronicle MA newslinks, my activities and some of the challenges of working from home because I've always been a journal keeper and making a blog is a natural part of my journey. Its helped me realize how far I've come & I hope people looking at MA as an opportunity for themselves along with existing distributors and customers find this an insightful resource which was my objective.
So I'll be back with more convention info soon. Make sure to visit the MA corporate blog on the homepage for photos and updates directly from MA staff bloggers.
