New Transitions Lifestyle Website Link!!
I almost forgot to mention that there's a new link on our homepage for Transitions!! It can be found on the left hand sidebar at the bottom of the page, listed last under Featured Services as transitionslifestyle.com.
This link brings you to a new support site for assisting people with weight management by providing extra tools like detailed listings of what is low glycemic along with popular recipes converted to low GI. There's also a personalized report for monitoring your body fat and inches lost and targeted info for exercise and guidance to changing bad habits into good ones.
I enjoyed beta-testing it for the past few months. Although I must admit that I didn't utilize it like I should with daily use and tracking myself but I think many "Transitioners" will find it very helpful and may give them the resource they need if classes aren't available nearby.....which is another issue. There still aren't enough Transitions Coaches and the latest training had a big call out to us on the fence about it. I think Motives is enough for me to focus on.
As much as weight management interests me, since I lost 20 lbs with the plan & have many successful customers on the program, overseeing a 12 week program---or several at a time---is too much running around for me. At least with Motives I can focus on in-home trainings while Transitions tends to work best out of gyms, spas and health professionals offices.
Dr. Shari said that they are close to perfecting a low GI pizza, which will be a great meal for my kids especially. She's a New Yorker so I know the recipe will have lots of flavor and good texture too. Hey, she promised it to everyone at the breakout session in Miami! Can't wait to taste test.
So....go check out the new transitionslifestyle.com site!
